Description of classes:
Hatha 1-2 (based in the Iyengar tradition) - Class focuses on learning the foundation to build stamina, stability, and strength through a specific sequence of postures. Precise/subtle movement, breath awareness and working with a healthy bone alignment will be given throughout each pose. Various props will be used to help slowly define the postures, hold the postures and for students to come into the postures regardless of their strength and/or flexibility. Note: Standing postures, basic twists, some seated postures, shoulderstand variations will be taught in these classes.
*Vinyasa/Jumpings-Class will flow from one pose to the next, working on proper alignment, balance, and strength. This class is for students with a minimum of one year of experience, must be proficient in standing poses and have a strong foundation. This class is NOT Power Yoga.
